You have your own outdoor grill and a firepit for evening fires and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Many folks tell us that our restrooms are the cleanest they’ve ever seen. You should just bring your own bedding and cooking items if needed.

Kayaking the shoreline along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is an experience that you will not want to miss. This is arguably the most beautiful shoreline in the United States. On the Taste of the Rocks trip you will see Bridal Veil Falls, sea caves, beautiful stained rock walls, Kissing Rock and a 150 year old shipwreck. All skill levels welcome. Minimum age is 8 years old. We use tandem double kayaks and all the kayaking gear is included. From July 1 to Labor Day we run 2 of these trips daily at 9:00 AM and Noon. An optional time of 3:00 PM is also available with some
schedule adjustments.

The Grand Island Sunset Dinner Cruise is a 27 mile circumnavigation around Grand Island which is the 3rd largest island on Lake Superior and has a beautiful shoreline of cliffs, sea arches, sea caves, beaches, wood lines, lighthouses, and a history of Native American Cultures that date back thousands of years.

The AuTrain River is a gentle paddle through the Hiawatha National Forest taking from 3-4 hours from the South Bridge to the "take out spot" at the North Bridge. Enjoy this delightful paddle where you might see a variety of birds and wildlife as they come down to the river to drink. You might see ducks, songbirds, great blue herons, kingfishers, muskrats, and turtles. Loons and eagles often soar overhead. Enjoy this quiet relaxing trip for the entire family without rapids or portages along the river. . . . And don’t forget your camera.

You will be eating and wetting your whistles at the Duck Pond Eatery and Beer Garden which is located next to the Paddlers Village. In addition to the free entrée on the Grand Island Sunset Dinner Cruise you will receive an additional dinner or lunch. Featuring over 30 Michigan craft beers, smoked meats, and a menu featuring, burgers, whitefish, sandwiches and salads. Alcoholic beverages are not included in this package.
